FAQ

Q: What do you do with the money we send you?

A: COPII is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  All donations go directly toward conducting the camp and sending children, mentors and instructors from the orphanage to the camp. We are staffed entirely by volunteers.

Q: Is there any other way I can help apart from donating money?

A: Here are a few ideas:

    • Spread the word about COPII among artists, art therapists and humanitarians
    • Talk to teachers who may want to get their classes active in the project
    • Donate or procure a donation of art supplies and/or fun gifts like kids T-shirts, hats, buttons, pens, pencils, Frisbees, etc.
    • Donate 35mm color film and/or inexpensive cameras
    • Hold a fundraiser in your community
    • Speak at a local Rotary Club about COPII
    • Write a grant for COPII

Q: This all sounds very interesting.  Is there any way I can go on the trip?

A: We have received a great deal of interest from people who want to participate in the camp project.  We are recruiting adventuresome and open-minded artists and humanitarians to come along, learn about the children, and share their knowledge with others.
